Royal baby: Kate gives birth to boy

The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy, Kensington Palace has announced.

The baby was delivered at 16:24 at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, west London, weighing 8lb 6oz (= 3,8 kg).

The palace said in a statement that the duchess and the baby were “doing well” and would stay in hospital overnight.

The press release said the Duke of Cambridge (the father of the baby) was present for the birth.

Prime Minister David Cameron said on Twitter: “I’m delighted for the Duke and Duchess now their son has been born. The whole country will celebrate. They’ll make wonderful parents.”

The day aims to remind people of racial discrimination’s negative consequences. It also encourages people to remember their obligation and determination to fight racial discrimination.

The “Secret Santa” game is played in December. Each player picks up a name in a hat or ion a box, and keeps the name secret. They must buy a present or do small acts of kindness to this person for the whole Christmas season. At Christmas, the secret is revealed.
